Hardest thing I have ever done in my life was telling the vet "I'm ready" for him to administer the final injection. Three years later, it still hurts.

Sorry for your loss. I’m dreading the day for my two.

Condolences, man. Saying goodbye to your best buddy is tough. 15 years is a great run. Always remember, you gave each other the best days of your lives.

Sorry for your loss. We have a rescue Boston Terrier. He's 10 years old. We got him when he was around 1 year old . He's supposed to be my wife's dog, but he's attached to me. So, I know that it's going to be rough for me when he goes. We're lucky in one respect that my wife works for a vet and our youngest daughter is a veterinarian, so Homer gets the best care. But, he won't live forever. I feel for you. It's tough.

Sorry man.
Dogs are awesome but also a cruel little game we play with ourselves.

Thank you. We’ve all been there and the pain is real. Praying OP can find solace in memories and knowing she had a great family and love for 15 years. So many don’t. Thank you, too, for adopting. They are so worthy.

Its tough to lose your dog. I cried like a little boy when I lost the last dog I lost. I got another dog within a week.. I have to have a dog. Get a new pup as soon as you can is my advice.

Had to put down our kids first dog last year. Was so tough but you do it for them. Don’t want them the suffer anymore.
Instead of revisiting the tough ending try to remember the good times.
