End of 1st year and married, 2 more years to finish law school seemed like eternity. First kid on way just after graduation ( El Josey Wales) meant had to pass to go to work. Remember the prep and stress you're going thru like it was yesterday. All of you who are brilliant or put forth reasonable effort will be fine. Enjoy the ride. From your spot to a grader of fed pro last 25 years whose daughter is now a lawyer flew by..

I've been practicing for 13 years. I struggle with DGAF everyday.
Have fun.

I'm in the number. I am a completely miserable soul who decided to take the test without preparing at all. I wasn't planning on taking it until February, but my wife convinced me to take it now as a trial run.

That was pretty stupid

It might not be too bad of a decision if I can make it through Fed J tomorrow! I think the fact that I know I don't have to pass this time lets me be a little less stressed and more focused on the exam.

Would have taken the wife to the Bahamas and landed some back door action instead

I guess you don't ever "have to pass." You'll just be another dolt that didn't pass the first ? times he took the bar.

He apparently isn't paying for it. Yet.

That was an absolutely miserable week. The wait begins til October 9th...

Taking it cold really does nothing for you. The way you approach the bar is too weird.
When I studied, I went to maybe 3 lectures and said screw it I'm doing old exams. I did that for two days and then just studied model answers.

Con law was a joke. In a good way.
Criminal law was a joke, in a bad way
Fed jurisdiction was fine
glad to be done...until february

Agreed that Con law was a joke.
WTF was up with those questions? I mean, I was all about it because it made it super easy, but it was so different from the way I was tested on Con Law in school.
"What constitutional challenges can a plaintiff bring to combat X law? DON'T DISCUSS 3 OF THE 4 WAYS SOMEONE COULD CHALLENGE THIS IN YOUR ANALYSIS!!!!!"
It was odd, but hey, it made it way easier. I ain't mad.
I thought crim wasn't bad. Thought they went a little light on evidence. Fairly surface level with a few obvious exceptions I thought. I won't discuss the actual question, but I am convinced one of the multiple choice questions was written incorrectly. None of the answers made any sense.
FCP was cake. Didn't deep in the rules at all I thought.
Here's to none of us making an appearance in the February check-in thread.

The first hypo question was terrible.
