Gotcha....well that is more understandable
Things come up last minute. I had car troubles and expensive vet bills weeks before ours so had to put a couple things on a credit card as well.

100% of women are bats hit crazy.
95% of women believe it's "her" day.
5% don't
Who's crazier? The 95% or the 5%? I say they 5% because they are so fricked up they can't even get being bats hit crazy right.

Let me guess, now that you're married you never have sex anymore. Any other cliches you'd like to throw out?

Does anyone feel guilty for the $$$ that the parents/inlaws shelled out for these massive weddings?
I mean I know it's tradition and all but it just seems like a giant "waste" of money that will more than likely be coming directly out savings of the parents.
Personally my parents are retired - they raised me and put me mostly through college. I am off the tit they don't owe me anything else in my eyes and I would feel like a super douche coming to them at 28 years old with a career and asking for thousands of dollars.

No. It was pretty much their idea and their insistence.

It wasn't so much as a sneeze. I would have preferred a small wedding and a check at the time...but it doesn't work that way.

That was the reason we didn't ask his parents for money. Mine def couldn't and his dad was about to retire....putting them on a fixed income. We were in our 30s when we married so didn't want to ask them for money. His mom offered to pay for my wedding dress but I politely declined and told her them traveling to the wedding was enough for us.

I'm sorry I was given a say in my wedding day and still have sex all the time.

If you have to tell the OT you're having sex all the time then you're obviously not really having enough sex.

Or I'm just tired of the same old "sex ends after a ring" cliches. It's pretty lame.

Had about 500 mainly due to my wife. Sucked and did not get to really see and talk to people I wanted because the rounds never stopped.

You really don't have a say in this. She may say she wants your input. What she means is she wants you to agree with whatever she says. It's her day, not yours. You are just a participant.
My GF knows that I feel the exact opposite way, and thankfully she does too. It's the same thing with Man Caves...talk about pussification of america...it's my house too and I'll have a say as to what's on all the walls the same way she does. Same with a wedding. We both have been involved in way too many of them and both have strong opinions and half the fun is talking them out together.

That doesn't fit the cliches though.
