I'd venture to say it's a Tulane or Loyola student from the East Coast who thinks that this is all about race and simply refuses to consider little things, like facts and whatnot.

No, didn't see you testify either time. Today was the first time I showed up during this trial. I may come for closing if I'm clear.

Do you know if this jury is sequestered? I believe they were last time if I remember correctly.

Nah, they wouldn't sequester in a case like this. Will just send them home with an order to not discuss, read the paper or watch the news.

Reingold is a good lawyer and he's just doing what he can for a shitty client in a shitty case. He's obligated to attack your credibility Bc that's all he has. But in truth, eyewitness testimony really is unreliable.

I don't know how anyone with a conscience can be a public defender

He's on the case, along with Carrie Ellis, and they are both good attorneys in my opinion. It's not like we're going up against Dick DeGuerin or Johnny Cochran, but they are more than capable. I actually prefer that the defense attorneys be good, because this is not supposed to be easy; I fully grasp the gravity of what's at stake here and would expect the same if the tables were turned. I know they're doing their jobs, and I respect that.

I also know the statistics regarding eyewitness testimony, and I wouldn't expect someone's future to be determined strictly on testimony if there were no physical evidence to back it.

Kept up with this for a long time my friend. Good luck with this and to all involved, outside the obvious, my heart is with all of you.

Hate is such an ugly way to live life. So don't if you can help this. Don't know if I could.

Wasn't charged as a first. Zero chance anyone could get 12 to come back death on this case in Orleans.

Death penalty is the only fair outcome.

Still deliberating. Jury keeps trying to hang. Might be a mistrial if something doesn't happen soon.
