Root canals are nothing nowadays. It's no worse than a filling. Once it's over, you shouldn't have much if any pain because there is no nerve. The only thing I experience was some sensitivity in the adjacent teeth due to the drilling.

You can take up to 5 aleve tablets which equal one prescription strength dose. Did they just do the pulpectomy or the full root canal with cap? I wonder if they only did the pulpectomy if the temp filling has come out.

I just had this very same thing happen a month ago and they wound up pulling the tooth. which was in the very back of my mouth.
