Just bought some Hoka Bondi 4's but have only had them a little over a week now. The amount of cishion in them is insane but Im not totally sold on them. Previously has some Brooks GTS and loved those. If I dont keep the Hoka's Im considering going back to the Brooks or some Mizuno's.

I ran in Asics from the early 80's to about 2002 (2500+ to the unbelievable number of miles a year), then Asics cratered and gave into selling fat boy shoes like Nike and New Balance. Brooks are too squishy and Saucony is nothing more than a niche shoe. I ran in Mizuno's for a couple of years, but never like the fit. I prefer a very light, minimalist trainer. The Asics Gel Lyte was my "go to" shoe. The Gel Lyte was phased out in the move to fat boy shoes.
FWIW I never had a shoe contract, and I am a die hard fan Asics fan. All of my long distance PR's are in Asics. BUT, Nike now makes several very good shoes. Asics brought the Gel Lyte back. I paired these with Nike FlyKnit Lunar's and prefer the Nike. Also some of my master's PRs are in Nike flats.
My advice is go to a running shoe store and have shoes professionally fitted. If you are in college you may be able to to the PE lab and have a biomechanical study completed.

Saucony and Mizuno are good shoes.
You need to go try on a pair.
