I don’t take free food home just because it’s free. If someone cooks like shite, I’m not going to take it home just because it is free. Fortunately I have that option. Now if someone is on hard times and appreciates whatever they can get that’s another thing. In fact if that was a known fact about someone where I am eating, I wouldn’t take anything home and let them have whatever I would have taken.
I am talking about people who are just cheap or greedy.

Jesus y’all are retarded. I do take leftovers at appropriate times and when I do I don’t try to be the first to get to them so I can load up taking more than I should. That’s the type of people I’m referring to.

The rules of our place when we have a get together is that all leftovers go with the guests when they go home. We even but ziploc bags and containers. We keep a plate of things for us and the rest has to go.

The company where I used to work would have a big July 4th picnic. It was really nice..The last year they had it a bunch of work cultura showed up with their family (Aunts,Uncles and cousins) and stayed and ate for about an hour. When they were leaving they started packing up food to take home. Co-workers were still arriving. Some people objected and words were exchanged..After that the company stopped it all together.

I dunno how you were taught raising up but , my family was told not to waste food because poor people could not afford the food we were getting. Be thankful you dont have to scrounge for food like people on the street corners or San Fran homeless.
