A bath doesn't wash away bruises. A bath doesn't wash away blood and semen from her sheets and clothes.
There also could be evidence left over in the drains pee trap, being that she's a girl and if you've ever lived with a girl they have a shite load of hair in the drain which catches everything so chances are they was blood and semen caught in the hair that's caught in the drain.
Also more physical evidence could be scratches, bite marks or bruises on him.
I hope you're not a real lawyer and just play one on the internet.

Though he reiterated it again just above your post, I'll agree that I have assumed that's the same reasoning others are using. But by that logic, and not using circumstantial evidence, is there any reason to believe this woman is making up her story, other than the possibility that she could (thereby proving their reasoning for his defense is what I said)? In other words, how is any argument against her not a straw man or ad hominem?

because, as i said much earlier, almost every guy i know either has been part of, or knows a guy who has been part of, false rape accusations. THAT societal issue is what is being disucssed. everyone except for one (and he was trolling) has said if she's telling the truth, it was rape
