No. Those studies aren't from police reports. They're from anonymous questionnaires that ask things like "Have you ever been touched by another person without specifically asking to be touched by that person?"

I've seen much more discussion on this particular case, and that's the discussion I'm having. I still don't see how projecting your opinions on the current state of rape investigation in America on to this specific case isn't a straw man exactly how you laid it out. You've created the argument, based on stories from buddies, that some women make false rape accusations, and that it must be argued against when sifting through the facts of this case. Again, how is that not a strawman?

the reporting to the study is over-reported, imho
i believe that's why there is such a gap in police allegations and study reporting (why it's so much bigger)
