profit margins are being affected as well. even producers like the lumber companies are paying higher prices for fuel, labor, etc. so the higher prices are causing higher revenue but the COGs are higher.

i don’t even know what point you’re trying to make.

are you suggesting that the Trump administration wanted to shut down the country for COVID, when the 2019 economy was the strongest US economy in recent history?

who, who exactly are you attempting to pass the blame of over exaggerating the danger of COVID-19 onto?

Are you just lying? Or that ignorant that you don’t remember how that year played out?

Are you saying the shutdown didn't have a huge negative impact on the economy? Who was president when it happened? That's how this game works right? Blame the US president for everything that happens.

I just bought a new, and better PC for less money than the one I bought maybe 4 years ago. Same for TVs, 4K 70” OLED is cheaper than a 42” plasma was years ago.

I randomly thought about this yesterday and it disgust me. My wife and I try our hardest and do a pretty good job at cooking at home, but restaurant prices are absolutely ridiculous right now.

Of course, naturally, when I am about to start a new job for the first time in 5 years, the salary increase really won't be that much. I'm just maintaining given the increase in prices. Being OT poor sucks.

If you ever had a spare 18-wheeler you didn’t want anymore, now would be the time to sell. A 3-year-old used truck is selling for more than $141,000, according to ACT Research, more than double its price from this time last year.

Tucker Carlson interviewed an economist a couple days back that stated this inflation is intentional and driven by the need to inflate their way out of the unsustainable 30 trillion dollar debt. If correct, we will have inflation for some time.

That's dumb. They could have raised their prices to these levels at any time. If the cost of inputs goes back down, someone will lower costs to get more market share, and others will follow suit to remain competitive. This is "since the dawn of time" shite.

No, no, no. They'll keep raising prices so the corporate fat cats make even more profits so they can swim around in their Scrooge McDuck money vaults. Everyone knows all corporate profits go in to the pockets of the President and CEO.
