I know people, who are gay, in which it was pretty obvious when they were a kid. Their mannerisms, etc, etc. It was really not a surprise the first time it was "revealed" they were gay.

There is a high probability he is miserable because he is forcing himself to be what he isn't all because he thinks its a sin to be who he really is.

That is, until he realizes he is living the life others want him to live and decides to leave the wife because he is tired of pretending.
And the kid they taught that being gay is a sin will have to be told his dad left mommy for another man at which point the kid will think bad about the father.. blah blah blah..
