I never shite on anyone for getting it.

That is a legitimate public policy reason.
There are a number of people who can't take a vaccine due to it being contraindicated for them. Those are often the most at-risk people. For them to gain a reasonable level of protection the population has to reach herd immunity. I am not sure why that is idiotic. Whether someone feels enough obligation to other people to get a vaccine they don't think they need is a separate discussion and very personal.
