Is Germany taking down its Nazi statues an appropriate comparison to this moment?
No, not necessarily. Lee and Davis were both actually on the extreme side of the racial scale of their time. I'm trying to think of an appropriate cultural equivalent but am failing to think of one. The statues were a shot at the US and a tribute to Southern culture and the fallen nation. Unlike misguided and white washed historical notions that are prevalent today the CSA was a lawful nation that legally separated from the US. Slavery was still alive and well in parts of the US at this time, and many Southerners, even prevalent ones, were opposed to slavery. Most don't or won't accept this because the victor gets the spoils, but comparing the CSA to Nazi Germany is a large stretch and historically perverted in regards to the facts.

I think they should lift Mitch up to cut the last bolt. Then turn off the lift and walk away leaving his arse up there face to face with Lee.

definitely have crane problems, see the 3 guys standing on back of crane looking at the crane drum (line spool) my guess is they backlashed or overlayed the cable on the drum damaging it

So is there any way we can find out where he's been eating his meals and where will he be celebrating this afternoon?
I want to make sure I boycott those restaurants
I've already boycotted Willie Maes, Cafe Reconcile and Dunbars

I'm sorry, but this place is so damn overrated. That is regardless of its affiliation with the Bitch.

I think they are going to attach the jib. You have to pretty much unhook, and pull all the cable back on to the winch. It'll get them more reach, but takes away a lot of load capacity, and load control. With winds and bad angles it can mean disaster!!!

Vandalized street sign, and a popular restaurant that has to protect its assets with a burglar bar door.

Does anyone know if Mitch has a bottom row of teeth? I've never seen them.
