I saw JLG 450AJ on one of the lifts they have out there.
Isn't this statue something like 70ft? WTF did they think they were going to accomplish with a manlift that goes out to 45ft platform height?

Honestly, the Beauregard Statue pisses me off more if we want to talk about what the statues actually are of.
The main thing that pisses me off about all of this is the mis-allocation of time and resources and attention; that in turn also justifies misguided attention and time and resources in the past, which in turn may spur on more empty actions in the future which will waste time, resources, and attention. There's over a million points at which you could start chipping away at the crime and diversity problems in New Orleans and we go the most ineffective, high profile way because our mayor is a piece of shite and hes duping a great % of the people in this city.
It's like trying to fight obesity in America and deciding the first course of action is to change all the pictures on menus at fast food joints to fruits and vegetables, but then serve the same food.
