Gasser statements allege that McKnight did things that were self-serving. Had nothing to corroborate or contradict Gasser statements. That changed.
Won't predict whether a conviction can be obtained.

Gasser allowed consent search of his home.
DO NOT EVER ALLOW THIS!!!

Non-custodial interviews were very beneficial.

Yeah that is a bad idea generally, but it helped Gasser get released this time around. Nothing they found in his home is hurting his case, but it shows how comfortable Gasser was with his decision to shoot.

And him being released brought more witnesses forward. Bad for him again.

He said a national outlet has a video that they didn't have previously. Any idea what he's talking about?
Posted on 12/6/16 at 10:55 am to MightyYat
No idea about that video. I'll talk to my source and see if I can get any information. Source is not working this case though.

It was just a video that showed more license plates I believe

That was an intense press conference. MSNBC cut away after he started reading the hate tweets. I flipped to Fox News and they werent carrying it.
Wait, he seriously just started reading mean tweets directed at him?

He just said Mcknight had a gun in his car. Well, not his car it was his step-father's car.
Posted on 12/6/16 at 10:57 am to ScopeCreep
McKnight had a gun in his car but no evidence suggests that he told Gasser as such.
It was not his car. It was stepfather's car and gun.

Good point. Perhaps an attorney would have told him to stay in prison and let the heat die down to secure his side of events.

Directed at him, the department and the black guy that spoke at the first press conference. It was glorious.

Alright. Personal opinion time - Gasser is screwed. He MAY get off if he gets a VERY good lawyer but that is going to take an absolute artist to prevent him from being convicted of manslaughter.

Yeah, it was like an episode of Celebrities Read Mean Tweets. That was special.
