Cities in the south are typically the most inter racial whereas in the northeast there are definitely defined "white areas" and defined "black areas". You don't think that's intention segregation?
Just because historically there was more racism in the south doesn't mean that's true today. I can't speak for the west coast but again from personal experience the most racists people I knew and met were all from the north.
This is true. In NJ, the races are literally segregated by the train tracks of NJ Transit.
