We are at 10% of gross income. Seems perfect for us.

I'm paying $1240 a month for the land we purchased an the house we are completely renovating. I run my own business but I pay myself 45k a year. I'll raise that up if needed but right now it's fine. Rather the money continue to grow my business in Clearwater and Gville. I may go to 50k next year to get a new truck.
