Well I'll tell you, there is absolutely no reason for you start going now.

The Jennings and Eunice stores survive?

How about the old fountain in the middle of the mall? Nostalgia.

ship anything good ahead of time to stores still open, then mark up the rest 50% then apply a 25% discount
Actual bargains during a closing sale are non-existent.

I don't understand Sears thinking that shutting down so many stores will help their situation. Every store they close is one less revenue generating opportunity.
I know this is "Money Board" material.
Instead of shutting down these stores, why aren't they trying to streamline operations at their existing locations or areas with smaller stores, fewer employees, less floor stock, and more shipping options to beat Amazon? This would help keep it as a national chain with presence. At the rate it's going, all the creditors will have left is the name Sears and Kmart, vacant properties, and more debt.
I see they are trying with their Sears Hometown store franchise model which they have been pushing since the 90's "Own your own Sears". Let us take you on a financial ride, where we give you all the overhead and collect a percentage. Those Hometown stores are okay, but it is mainly just appliances and lawn mowers, and the one near me is actually in a hardware store that is no way related to the Sears name.
Just my 2 cents...

Creole Lunch House.
Their original location is still open, and it's not just their stuffed bread.. All their food is great. I worked in the mall back then, and still dream about their Meatball Fricasse.
