I find this hard to believe. I have been to a scant amount divier places that didn't ask, but the vast majority of places are asking if you are eating there.

I would say about 50% of the places I have been that required vax checked ID as well.
I haven't been going out a whole lot. I have noticed that it is getting a bit more lax as time has gone on.

I agree that dive type bars don't give two shits but the established restaurants are sticking to the company line.
