Several years ago I got a ticket for 31 in a 20 on Lake Ave.
Went to court. DA called everyone in one at a time.
Asked me if I had ever gotten a speeding ticket before.
Told him "No, Sir"
He replied "That's what I like to hear" and dismissed it.

If it is reduced to a non-moving violation then you were not convicted of a moving violation. Thus, can't be used against you.
