It is a self inflicted distraction which puts others at risk...quite selfish too, I might add.


There is a spot on the ticket where the officer writes the statute that you violated. He wrote the texting while driving statute that I provided the link for, not a distracted driver statute. But go on thinking that you know what you're talking about.
