He was only getting 125,000 viewers an episode.

supah, you missed a huge part of it in your post. It started to change when that lady Marcy started running the show. Downhill ever since. Artie has spoken about this.
great point

There will be a great movie or miniseries made about Howard that Howard will absolutely hate. Call it “Citizen Stern.”
Maybe a movie called Private Parts?

I unsubbed to Sirius after Artie Lange was fired. But only after I came to realize Hollywood Howie had exploited his heroin addiction for entertainment. Looking back, it was funny at the time, but I later realized how cruel it was to do that to Artie. And once he started being friends with the likes of Jimmy Kimmel and hanging with Jennifer Anniston at beach houses in Mexico, it was clearly over. Then he hires the new channel manager, Marci Turk, who just shite on all the people who worked behind the scenes. He used to crap all over Imus, for the exact same stuff he's become 10x worse about today. Howard has all the money anyone could ever want, and he's a miserable isolated prick and will die that way. Good riddance to the guy that turned on his true fans.

I’ve been trying to listen as long as I can. I was a huge fan. Listened to all the shows, replays, etc. I just can’t anymore. So boring

Media shows that pushed pandemic lies are paying the price. The demographic most favored by advertisers just happens to be the the one that's most informed about the disastrous economic and health consequences of public health policies.

I think the end is that he became the guy he was raging against early in his career.
He became Don Imus.

He's a relic of 90s culture. Once the Internet became big his show lost any shock value it ever had and what was left was very boring.
Jenna Jameson riding the sybian on the radio kind of loses its cachet when you can see that on your computer screen on demand.
