Diversity. Diversity of people, thoughts, religions, etc.

Multicultural societies are very low trust societies. It devolves to a culture of individuals looking out for themselves because no trusts each other because everyone has different ideas of what should be.

People that say diversity is a strength are naive. It is why people join clubs so that they can be around other people like themselves. It is comforting and trusting.

I do get that having a multitude of ideas to pick from does have an alluring feel and maybe you'll have access to a better idea than an area that has only one idea. The difference is that that group with the one idea to pursue will have become great at that one idea and will push depths into that idea that the group with a bunch of ideas is unlikely to see in any of their pursuits because they are spreading resources thin.
