Yeah. Pretty surprised none of them knew 1408 was Stephen King.
I thought final jeopardy was kind of obvious. Oh well

The (presumed) lack of a social life is why he is winning. He seems to know a little something about everything. He even did well in the hip hop category the other day.
Except sports. He's awful at sports.
Can't believe the gay dude beat him today. He pissed me off with his "air conditioning" answer the first time he buzzed in.
One thing bothered me though. He confessed to missing that question in round one, and it was a $600 question. But they deducted $1600 from his score (from $6000 to $4400). What the frick?
And Sally couldn't get an answer out in the form of a question. She fricked that up two or three times.
And I love how Trebek thinks the contestants are complete idiots. When Matt found the DD early in round one he goes "Michael and Sally don't realize it, but this may be to their advantage..." Um, Alex, everybody knows that shite.
Trebek is so fricking smug.
And thanks for this thread btw, ice enjoyed watching Jeopardy the last couple weeks.

I'm persistently bothered by their seemingly random application of the "rules" in terms of allowing slippage in the responses.

All I know is that virgin was smart.

How much taxes will he pay on that?

And he got beat by a guy playing for second place. The other guy literally bet the amount that would give him $1 more than the chick if she got it right and he got it wrong. Playing for second and he wins because of his pussy arse wager.

You've had direct experience with the buzzer? Because that it what he was mostly good at.

I always secretly believed you were Trebek.

I can't believe that goofy arse fabulous weirdo beat him. I completely wrote him off after that terrible air conditioning answer early on in the game.
