Losing must suck.

As a native american person I find it ridiculous.

The loss is not at all on the same level. And for people to suggest so is comical. Their little struggle in america was a hiccup in history's hardships.

One people were a part of a massive genocide, where not only were their lives taken..any way of life, history and land was taken and destroyed.

And the Other people, was just business in another country. Was it right? No. But it was going on there. As it had been happening since BC was behind the year. To many races there.

The people who were brought here have flourished and have opportunities greater than their former continent offers to this day. The people who were already here back then, will be gone before anyone else now.

As an American, I agree.

Maybe, but let’s not pretend that indians weren’t doing exactly that to each other for millennia before white people were ever here. We simply did to the Indians what they were doing to each other.

And much of that is their own fault. You don’t have to have lived near any reservation to know that.

Perhaps if a genocide hadnt happened, there wouldn't have been need for reservation land. Or a depression set in on a people.

But I do believe in taking accountability for your own actions. Our tribe taught that.

Man I couldn’t disagree with you more. Both were different but both were horrific humanitarian atrocities.

One isn’t better or worse than the other. They’re just different, but they both destroyed those respective peoples.

Would you rather get inconveniently displaced or have someone come in your house and murder you and your family?
