There is a generational divide in online dating.
Large % of people whose formative years were late 90’s - mid aughts still view online dating as where you go to meet an ax murderer.
For those who came after it’s more acceptable & becoming a more routine way of meeting people.

We went to middle school together but I reconnected with my wife on Tinder. We now have a daughter together so she’s pretty thankful for it
