Yeah those are the best drivers. I've had drivers with beverages, multiple phone chargers, mints/gum, fruit, cologne, etc.

I asked an Uber driver to pull out a square so I could tip him. It was a free ride for me and I got him yelled at by a cop. Usually no reason to tip

I drive part time for Uber. I don't encourage tipping, but I won't turn it down if someone insists on it, either.

Uber I normally don't because you can't do it through the app. That's why I prefer Lyft since you can. I will tip if it's deserved (friendly, offers water/power, gets me there fast, etc).

I got in one the other day that had custom made signs made about tips which hung from the front headrests into the back seat.
I tip 90% of the time if I have cash on me, but that pissed me off.
