Well there's an excellent source of unbiased Trump news.

yeah...WAPO is pretty much print version of CNN or MSNBC.

BTW, Obama will be visiting Louisiana after his golf trip in case no one noticed.

So WaPo made it up? Nobody has refuted them yet. Lawsuit happy Trump hasn't sued them for libel yet. I'm sure you read something different on Breitbart tho...

That's exactly what either side will be screaming if any of them donate money. Some liberal is going to scream anyway that giving supplies is vote buying. It doesn't matter how sincere folks may be...someone is going to believe there's an ulterior motive and complain. There are people complaining that Trump came here at all. No one else is coming here, so far. I'm glad someone with a national presence showed up.

I do think its a fair question to ask, if a presidential candidate gives a donation, is it considered vote buying. When I ran for a city council seat years ago you have to report everything you do in terms of donation money for a campaign and there are certain ethics that have to be followed.

As for as how sincere someone is, I agree with you, as long they are doing something it doesn't matter, with that said, I consider myself "independent", I am not some liberal trying to downplay what the republican candidate did, but what Trump did was just for show. Just like what Obama will do Tuesday when he comes to Baton Rouge.

They go to a few places that were damaged, talk with some of the people and take a second to give people a few things. In reality, its more for their gain than anything else. Its an opportunity to get photo ops so they can be used for campaign commercials as it gets closer to the election. That's just how politics work.

People who keep saying "well its better than what Obama is doing.. He is playing golf". Its not a good look for him to be seen playing golf while there are people who are still trying to find out how they will put their life back together, but Bush pretty much did the same thing after Katrina. He was on vacation when it hit and it wasn't until days after that his staff decided they needed to inform him about just how bad the situation was. On his way to the white house, from Texas, he was flown over the gulf coast.

This is why I think a two party system is failing us. Instead of focusing on what's best for the country and its citizens, it becomes what party does what and when.

Don't worry. Obama's trip to Louisiana next week won't interrupt his golf vacation.

Are people being taken care of? Can Trump, Obama or Hillary provide a magic touch to help everyone who has lost everything?

Well. Trump is handing out supplies and donations... So yes?

Obama is playing golf. He had no problem quickly making national comments from his podium defending a pedophiliac rapist without any facts or investigation, just automatic defense of a child rapist, but he can't interrupt his golf game to mention the victims in BR and the surrounding areas.

He had no problem shitting on Bush for not showing up sooner.

He has no problem immediately addressing any perceived injustice to black people rioting.

But a natural disaster? Eh frick it. I'm playing golf.

frick that piece of shite.

And the Clinton's? Hillary over sees one of the largest foundations in the country and hasn't done shite either.

Trump? Bought supplies and handed them out himself.

Says what you want about politics, only one of those three has actually helped.

You mean helping the same people who said they would shoot him if he cut their food stamps?

There is no way in hell they could guarantee his security in that hell hole.

Clearly the visit was a success.

Because of his visit, Hillary Clinton and Obama will also visit next week.....which will draw even more attention to the needs of the flood victims and the human suffering.

Look, I am not a die hard support of the president or anything, but the hate the people have for him is insane. Seriously, I don't think he is as bad as some of you perceive him to be. Every president has their good and bad qualities.

For frick sake, Bush used 9/11 to gain support to go into Iraq because his administration wanted to establish a government that would become an American ally in order to sell cheaper oil to the US.

They had a plan to destroy the Iraq government, but assumed the government would be re-established by people who supports the US and from there everything would work out. Instead, it created one big clusterfrick that evolved into ISIS.

This is not some bullshite I am saying just to say, this is a fact.

Also, the US economy completely sunk under GWB. The recession started in December of 2007 so you compare what president left the country in better shape, I think Obama will win that battle. I know it doesn't matter what I say, there will be that will never agree with this, but that's reality.
