Yeah, I get it but its really specific. Its not just dressing up, its the whole mascot like suit. I guess it takes them out of reality? And are they sexually attracted to the character? If so its a sexual attraction to something not human to some degree.

And who doesn't have past trauma of some sort? I get it, some people went through things much worse than others. And look "different strokes for different folks". People like different things, but there isn't one thing they would rather be doing than dressing up in mascot suits?
