My guess is, no. The president is the biggest problem, and he is still in power, and there are not-so-subtle threats from Putin.
Barring a Russian invasion, however, the level of confrontation will likely decrease for awhile.

Session of parliament closed till Februry 4. So, parliament fricked up. Revolution gonna continue.......

Ukraine's parliament on Wednesday passed a measure offering amnesty to those arrested in two months of protests, but only if demonstrators vacate most of the buildings they occupy. The move was quickly greeted with contempt by the opposition.

"In reality, parliament has just passed a law on hostages. The authorities have themselves recognized that they are taking hostages, as terrorists so they can trade the hostages," said Oleh Tyahnybok, leader of the Svoboda party and one of the protests' top figures, according to the Interfax news agency.

Hmmmm, yes. I'm surprised we haven't had more pics posted of Yulia Tymoshenko. (Former PM, current government opponent, imprisoned by current regime.)

I guess. I decided to post an atypical pic, hoping for more like yours to be posted. She's been showing a bit of mileage since her trial and incarceration, but she's still a damn good looking woman.

KIEV, Ukraine (AP) - Ukraine's embattled President Viktor Yanukovych is taking sick leave, his office announced Thursday, leaving it unclear how involved he may be in efforts to resolve the country's political crisis in which protesters are calling for his resignation.
Well isn't that convenient.
