6 weeks holy shite?
Next year I’ll get get 22 days, I’ll probably take a big two week vacation and then random Friday-Monday trips.

I get a little over 4 weeks a year and spread that out all year. Plus I work from home some so that helps. We take about 7-8 trips a year. Some for a week some for a long weekend.

How does that work?
Whenever you want to take off, you put it on your calendar and let your team know. It doesn't get abused because we are all adults.
If someone were to take off every week and their work did not get done, they would probably be let go for perfomance. We also can work from home when needed.

I like 4 day weekends and maybe a travel vacation of about 10 days. That does it for me.
