Don't be so damn sensitive, no one gives a shite about your "feelings".

This doesn’t mean much now, certainly won’t mean shite by the time any of the younger generations get older.
And don’t tell me to get off of your lawn either, old geezer.

Enjoy your youth. It is a time to celebrate and it’s a time that will fade away. Enjoy the time with mom and dad. At 20 years you will still have a lot of aunts and uncles. Enjoy the stories they tell. Enjoy the jokes. Be free and enjoy the high levels of testosterone you have. Be responsible but have fun. Don’t worry about what you have no control over. Listen to music that pines your heart from that distant girlfriend. Laugh each day. Give from the heart. Live brother...live !

College is great, but you don’t “have” to go to college.
Many damn good careers out there that don’t require a 4-yr degree.

1- Family is primary. Tend to your family, take care of them, and draw strength from them.
2- Work. There is nobility in all work. Plus, people who work consistently are happier than people who laze about.
3- Golden rule - do unto other as you would have done unto you. Empathy is very underrated.
4- Don't take things too seriously. Enjoy life. Smile. Laugh.

DO NOT pursue a liberal arts degree in college. It has no value in the real world.
Also, use condoms at least until you’re financially stable and able to support a child and a wife. They cost a lot more than you think.
The girls who really make you work for it are the ones who are marriage material. If she puts out easy for you, she almost certainly does for everyone else too.
Infidelity leads to divorce which will ruin you financially. Don’t marry a whore. By whore I don’t mean literal prostitute, just a very easy woman. Women who are easy are more likely to have an affair.
That’s my $.02 for the younger generation.
Also, don’t use or drink if you have addiction in your family. It’s not worth the risk. It’s far, far easier to never start than it is to stop. If your father or uncles have issues with drugs and/or alcohol, avoid it at all costs.
Exercise regularly. You may not need to while young, but developing the habit will pay off big time once you hit late 30’s and beyond.
Find a good doctor who draws your blood every 6 months and analyzes your lab results. This literally saved me life. At age 33, I had colon cancer which was removed before it metasticised, and never would have known had my doc not drawn my blood and found abnormalities in the lab results which even the gastroenterologist didn’t know meant I had cancer.
He did the colonoscopy anyway, despite stating that he disagreed with my primary care doc’s opinion on the lab results. Found two pre-malignant tumors in my intestines and removed them before they spread.
The embarrassment of having a colonoscopy is well worth being alive 5 years later as opposed to being dead.
Typically, you don’t need to have a colonoscopy until age 40, but because my doctor drew blood at age 33, she was able to determine that I needed one right away, and she saved my life.
If your doctor doesn’t draw blood regularly and analyze lab results, find a new doctor.
I would be dead or dying with incurable cancer had she not observed abnormalities with something in my lab results that stemmed from a lab test in my early 30’s.
If not for that doctor doing tests that I at the time thought were unnecessary, I would not be posting here today.
Lastly, don’t allow others (even parents) convince you of limitations. Pursue your dreams regardless of who discourages you. Nobody knows your capabilities better than you do. Never forget that.
It’s much easier to accept failure knowing you tried your very best than to never try because someone talked you out of doing so.
