My wife has a Santa Fe the 7 passenger with V-6. It doesnt have a noticeably high level of road noise. Its the nicest vehicle I have ever owned. Fully loaded you can drive it off the for right at $30k.
I seldom mentioned car in Hyundais lineup is the Azera. Its on level with the Avalon. I drove one and they are very nice.
We bought from Greg LeBlanc in Houma. Their service is very good and oil changes are less than Wal Mart.

They seem like a really great deal. Again, I really like that the vehicle is incredibly safe. Doesn't it have like 12 airbags?

I've heard the name. I don't see them much on the road, though.

If ever I'm in the market for a new vehicle, I'll give them a visit.

That's how you reply to a thread.

They are. We just scrutinize them more vs. imports for some reason.
Which one? It seems that only the Asian and German manufacturers focus on reliability.

KY, you're wrong here.
Everybody's reliability has gotten better (save Rover).
Cadillac, Buick, Jaguar (under Ford, now TATA) are just a few who've gotten way better.
Some have stayed lower to mid-pack (Nissan, Mitsubishi) and some have declined a bit once they started moving a huge volume. (Toyota, but still very good )
Honda has remained a strong constant, but when you are very slow to upgrade your product, that is to be expected. ( less change, more consistency)
German marques were really crap before Lexus.
This is just my general, quick opinion, but it's pretty accurate.

Yeah, I can agree with that if I think about it.
However, if you put any stock into publications like Consumer Reports, very few get recommendations, aside from the luxury brands, Toyota and Honda. Rarely does any of the US based manufacturers get any love.
