Fine women, nice people, and paved roads.

If I were to drive home from Baton Rouge with my eyes closed, I could tell you exactly when I cross into Hancock County. It'd be when my car doesn't feel like it's driving through Mordor anymore.

The MS delta fricks the state over when it comes to all these rankings. Everyone knows it, just no one ever says it.

It's comical the Louisianians in this thread pointing fingers at Mississippi for being fat.

Southern part of the state has tourism. Northern party has forestry and some suburbs of Memphis. Mississippi has a couple of automobile manufacturing plants.

The Mississippi Delta region has some agriculture, but some very serious social issues that make the whole state look bad.

I cannot think of much else. They really need more industry.

Louisiana would be in the same place if not for oil and gas.

I stop and piss in Mississippi gas stations/convenience stores as I drive thru the state. I give their restrooms a 3/10.

We don't even stop in Jackson anymore since they've gone radical with their elected officials......it's not a big loss.

Madison is a nice, clean place to stop.

Jackson is going down in flames unfortunately.

LA's shitty roads shouldn't be considered a positive aspect of Mississippi. That should be the baseline.
