What pissed me off today started this weekend. Went out to eat with my family Thursday night for my birthday. All was great. Took the wife to dinner Saturday night, all was great. Then when I paid the bill, they made a mistake in the amount they ran on my card. And, without telling me before hand, voided the transaction and ran the card again for the correct amount. If you use a debit card, you know where this is going. It put the first amount on hold, then the second, effectively freezing twice the amount from my account. Then they told me they did it, and that my money would be back in my account in a few days. Needless to say, I was not pleased . But wait, that's not all. I took out my phone, and pulled up my bank account on the app. Sure enough, two transactions pending, money no longer available. But then I saw that I had two pending transactions from Thursday night's dinner. Went to the bank this afternoon, they confirmed that both restaurants had run my card twice. I went back to the Thursday restaurant and the manager was able to confirm that the server had done the same thing, ran the card for the wrong amount, voided the transaction, then ran it again. So for at least several days, my account is a couple hundred short, because not one but two servers screwed up. Now I know this doesn't happen often, but twice on my birthday weekend?

I knew I spoke to soon and jinxed myself by bragging.

I should have waited until the Misses got home before I bragged about it being an annoyance free day...

i admitted i was wrong...i still think shocked is sufficient though. I don't know electricity but i think ive heard its better to get "shocked" by 220 than 110 because 220 will you knock you off while 110 grabs on to you...guessing 440 will knock you off even more

It's 480v all of y'all or pissing me off!!
