Launching boats with an electric hoist on the Violet Canal back in the mid 60's. Got there to open up around 4:30 a.m. and didn't close until around 6:30 p.m.
I was all of around 13 or 14 at the time. Worked for a minimum wage which was around $1.25 an hour back then.

Worked McDonald's for about 2 weeks and couldn't tolerate the job or the losers that thought it was a good place to work.
Then went to work as a radio dj. Better all around than McD's

Dishwasher. Worked in kitchens for a few years working my way up to line cook before deciding that life was not for me.
