Where is this little slice of heaven you ended up at?
I lived there 30+ years and I'm a social a-hole who has PTSD from always having to keep an eye on surroundings and everyone else. Especially in a small group walking somewhere at night.
Now, Friends from other cities and states out here in Portland are easy going, carefree, and try to encourage me to relax..But living in shady parts of new orleans for long periods of time can bring your surrounding awareness to Jason Bourne level.
