Plenty Deer,

I moved into WOL this summer. Love It!
I put a feeder out with a cheap game camera and had a few does the first night, plus a inquisitive fox.

Being from the south side of town it took me a little while to get used to only hearing crickets and frogs at night.

It’s doesn’t have the panache that it once had in the 90’s, but it’s still a serviceable neighborhood.

We looked at a couple of houses in there recently. They were very dated and kind of overpriced, but they tend to be pretty big and one had a spectacular yard, but the location is just not bad for us. That said Shenandoah is going downhill and the White Oaks are extensions of Shenandoah. The home prices are still solid, though.

Their prices are steady, but I frankly just didn't find the construction quality to be very good. There was new house in there that was fine, but it ended up selling for well over list. It was really an outlier in terms of style and construction, though.

Most of that subdivision is just stucco boxes.

It looked like they built that development very fast with inferior quality

They had several "preferred builders" plus anyone could buy a lot an build a custom house with any builder of their choosing. My point is that the quality of construction varies because there were so many different builders.

It's not as though it's a development where the developer built every home and thus are all the same quality. It's just the opposite.
