Well it goes without saying that the activity the individual is participating in has to be legitimate and socially acceptable. Those guys weren’t participating in internationally sanctioned competition.

Being convicted of raping an 18 year old is not internationally sanctioned

Lady I worked with years ago was best friends with Robin Given's mom. She met him a bunch of times. Said he was actually somewhat quiet and reserved in small settings. Also mixed in some paranoia, but was always nice to her.

I get your point but I can only assume you know what I was getting at there, which was commentary specifically in regard to the activity that thrust them onto the public stage, of course boxing in this instance.

Yea, he was a great boxer(though overrated in my opinion) and yes that’s why people like him, if he wasn’t an absolute tank and athletic phenom people on this board and I general would view him as a complete loser. But I appreciate you being respectful and having a a discussion without name calling etc

Watch Knockout on ABC, this basically is the conclusion. And his life was absolute turmoil growing up.

Eat an edible, wait a couple of hours and watch Mike Tyson Mysteries. Also features Norm McDonald.

I trust a crackhead that straight tells me about stealing my shite at any moment with no warning more than a billionaire who tells me he's got my best interests at heart. At least the crackhead is honest about taking my money.

I’ve always looked at Mike and thought of him as someone who was convicted of a crime, did his time and moved on with his life. I can live with that and don’t feel the need to cancel someone who paid their debt to society.

1) I don’t believe he committed rape. 2) He doesn’t claim to be perfect or blame other/society for his faults and actions 3) People can appreciate someone who tells it like it is instead of being a fake B like drew Brees

Maybe people who have their own history of blowing it when their professional life was at any level of greatness, can empathize with him, especially if they came back from that kind of fall, too.

Before meeting Cus D’Amato, Mike's future probably would have been beating up deadbeats who didn't pay their mob debts. Just like Terry Malloy. They say he was a mean little SOB.

The story of Mike Tyson's time in juvie and reform school, and how he ended up meeting Cus D'Amato, who proclaimed he would be the future heavyweight champion of the world.

I don’t really understand how it all happened. How did Cus D’Amato, this legendary boxing manager and trainer who was in exile in upstate New York, watch me spar for less than ten minutes when I was thirteen years old and predict that I would be the youngest heavyweight champ ever?

Cus was one of the most unique men ever to walk the planet. He touched the lives of so many people and helped them become a better version of themselves. He took the weak and made them strong.

But before Cus, pigeons saved my life. I was a fat Poindexter when I was growing up. I was bullied every day until I was brought up onto a roof near where I lived and told to clean up the pigeon coops by the older, cooler guys who kept their birds there. It didn’t make sense to me. The birds were so small, so insignificant looking. Why would fly guys be so interested? But you could see by the smiles on their faces that these pigeons meant the world to them. ...

Even if there was a plan to have sex, that doesn’t give him free reign to do whatever he wants if she later decides no. What if she had planned to have sec with him but then got there and changed her mind? Can he just have sex with her anyway? What’s your honest opinion, think about your sister or mom in a similar situation.
My honest opinion is "how fricking stupid are you, Mom?"

This isn't a case of "she was asking for it for dressing like that".
