Just had people on who were ordered not to talk to the media about crew members getting sick. Then they had a guy from LSU on. frick these BP fools. They aren't even doing the dispersing rt. The BP guy is saying they are getting sick from food poisoning. The Lsu guy said that it coukd be a combination if working in the heat and breathing in oil fumes. He also said if and this is a big if... BP is following regulations, then no one should be getting sick from the dispersing chemicals.
Then they went on to talk about the psychological health of people in the area will become a big issue and they need to get blimps out there with infrared to pinpoint the thickest areas and get the skimmers out there. That this needs to be done now, or shoukd have already been done.

Some of it could be the working in hazmat suits with gloves in the heat. That makes a lot of sense. Especially if you get dehydrated.
However it probably doesnt help to be breathing in petrochemical fumes at the same time.
