Looks better for La. Not so good for our SEC neighbors to the east. This could change with the wind though.

the concern is now that if it gets into the gulf stream which is south of the blob's current location, it will flow to the coral reefs of florida keys and then to the bahamas and east shore of Florida.
I realize some posters already told me I could not possibly be right on that, but apparently ....

That would be really bad, the gulf stream waters rise all the way up the eastern sea border of the US and the water moves quite rapidly.
