I saw this article just a little bit ago and REALLY hope that this is the widespread case. It certainly gave me hope.
I pray to God that the cofferdam works so that they can start to really gain some ground on the oil that is floating around the Gulf.
Also saw on the news tonight that the 50 oil samples that the chemistry folks at LSU have tested say that the oil that's actually reaching the surface and reaching the shore is not NEARLY as toxic as it could be. The 5000 feet climb that the oil is taking is helping to weaken the toxicity according to them.
In the meantime........I'm hoping............and wishing.......
Here's to all of the shrimpers, fishers, USCG, and everyone else fighting like hell to protect our coast. They're certainly not giving up without a fight.
