Shrimping has been closed from the Southwest Pass of the Mississippi to 4 bayou pass east of Grand Isle. I can't find any word on recreational fishing in the Grand Isle/Fourchon area but looking at the NOAA map projections it does not look good for the areas west of the Miss. River.

I would expect all fishing to take some sort of shot this year. To what degree, I have no idea.

Check the links I posted in the recreational and commercial fishing thread. LA has closed off a good bit of inland waters that NOAA hasn't. Also the only shrimp season open is west of vermillion bay
