SLB would not have left on their own. BP would have to make the call to send them in.
I expect the lead BP company man to do federal jail time.

SLB wont talk... I have already heard for a very close source that works for SLB that their engineers already have a solution to the leak... but they don't want to get involved without being asked so they are not black-balled. Basically they don't want to come out on their own and say.. BP is a bunch of frick ups and we know how to fix the problem ourselves.

Then heads at SLB should roll.
Besides, I don't buy that. Anyone that came forward right now that stopped the leak would be a fricking God.

Again, BP would not have been required to run CBLs by MMS. Should they have run them? Yes. Were they criminally negligent for not running them? No.

False. They are involved and are their expertise is being used.

I dont buy that either. If SLB had a solution, all they would have to do is submit it anonymously or through Shell, Exxon or Chevron since they are supposedly helping figure something out. I wouldnt imagine BP would be that fricking stubborn, but you never know

I'm saying that heads should roll if they are sitting on a solution to the leak.

And the article is false in that SLB high tailed it out of there. That would not be their call to make. It would have been BP's.

I'd say there's about a negative percentage chance of that. Then SLB would be criminally negligent and they simply would not do it. Period.

I know everyone loves a good conspiracy but some of this is completely ridiculous.

If SLB guys on the rig weren't comfortable with what was going on, why couldn't they give BP the finger and call SLB to get them out? Which coming from a good source is what really happened.

They could but that's not likely what happened and at that point there was no indication anything was wrong so why would they ask to leave? The rig wasn't on the choke or taking a kick at that point. Plus, someone with SLB was on here early on saying BP sent them in. Not the other way around.
