Source control:
Top Kill: The following was reported at a 7:00 PM CDT press conference: the top kill started pumping mud at 1:00 PM CDT and is continuing. They are pumping the mud through both the choke and kill lines, and through the various valves in the BOP. The pump rates have varied and have been as high as 65 barrels per minute. They do expect that this top kill operation will be completed within the next 24 hours. There is a visual on the flow from the kink in the riser at the top of the BOP (BOA Deep 1); however, the visual on the flow at the end of the riser is too cloudy from the drilling mud flow.
Relief wells:
DDIII – The 18” liner set at 9,956 feet; drilling out cement in the 18” shoe track at 9,895’ MD
DDII – The 22” casing set at 8,576 feet; set surface plug and have suspended this well for now; preparing for the BOP on BOP option if needed; still testing BOPs

I wasn't questioning or doubting your data. Just providing the most recent number I got.

think i heard 65 per minute and a total of about 7000 barrels as of the time it was said...
edit: i think they may have said "as high as 65" at times..

oh yeah, no problem...the number will change constantly.....
As for if it is working, the fealing is that things are going well at the moment but we are not out of the woods yet.

And that's the exact impression I got from my contact in our last conversation. Keep those fingers crossed.
