You have to be within 300 yards of your stand or in a club stand. Not my rules but the club.

seriously...y'all should slowly whittle down the membership to 6 (max 8) through attrition and just pay more.

terrible rules.

Should be entirely open, with a morning lottery on stands/locations for the day.

The club Im in has the same rules. We are allowed 3 stands each for 25 members in 2000 acres. We cant go but 50yds around our stand for bow hunting. I dont bow hunt though. There are a couple of members that dont see many deer but thats because they put the whole family in the stand or they only hunt for 1 hour. Its seldom I hunt a stand and not see a deer.My dues are much cheaper than $1300 a year. South of Shreveport.

Yep, it's more expensive close to New Orleans and BR.

My dues in Southeast AR are only $800 and we all see plenty deer, but the drive makes most trips a 3 day weekend. A club like this is convenient for short hunts, even if you're driving out there from the city.

I have that in another club already, 2500 acres 4 members 5 years old deer or better. This is a different set up entirely.

Ya'll can criticize the rules all you want I am not the president nor on the board of the club, just a member it's the clubs rules. If you don't like them don't join. It is what it is there are always rules in a hunting club that seem odd but they are that way because at some point there was a problem. I'm just trying to pass along an opportunity if no one is interested or its a bad deal no problem it's not my deal. I'm just a member for a good while and like the club.

You probably weren't responding to me, because I didn't criticize your rules...

But I would still discuss it with the other members about absorbing memberships through attrition...

they may all be able to afford this one membership, possibly another.

another $118 per person shouldn't make or break someone

Yeah if I was yall I would drop the number of members, make it a lottery system for the stands and implement some management rules. Plant some decent food plots and you may be surprised what type of deer you can get off of 2000 acres even in Washington Parish.

Pep no wasn’t responding to you on the rules sorry!

GH22 this place will need change it is what it is take it or leave it. The other place in St Helena will never have an opening if someone gets out we will absorb it. We keep what we kill quiet and what we we do off the net. It’s a good set up especially for its location.

I remember you telling me about it before now. Do they run dogs around the place in Washington?

Dahammer. I live too far away to join but thank you for offering this here. Really nice and great that this board has people like you that want to help and contribute. Really appreciated.

I'd love to join, but my play funds have been depleted by my dog.

Even with the limited stands it'd be awesome because it's so close.
