Have you been seeing much? They haven't been moving much all season. I killed a doe last weekend, but I haven't been seeing many deer. The deer aren't usually this nocturnal this time of year.

Why they going to move when they only have to take a few steps and eat acorns

I'm an "outsider" in these parts..... As far as the locals, everybody knows everybody around here.

It's supposed to get down to 38 here tonight. Hopefully that will get them moving better

The damn pigs eat what little bit of acorns we have as soon as they hit the ground. I'm hopping the hot weather is what has them so nocturnal this early in the year. Of course, our first good cold front comes during the full moon.
One of my cameras had 1800 (set on. 3 shot burst) pics on it from Sun-Fri and 95% of them were at night.

Well, I'm soaked. Zero fish in boat, band supposed to pass us in an hour and we'll get out from under this bridge.

Full moon has them bedding down now. Would be best to make a mid day hunt.

We are catching some trout. Still out here. Rain all around. Beers are cold.
