Thats in regard to the crash features on the reg cab and sup cab. Super crews are fine, Highest safety rating from iihs.

Damn I might look into that instead of a yota. Better mpg with a full size truck? Yes please.

How do you like the auto start/stop engine feature? If I understand right the engine cuts off at red lights or when you stop for a short period of time. Does the AC still stay cold when the engine shuts off?

From Ford Website
Boosting the 2.7-liter EcoBoost’s fuel efficiency is the debut of standard Auto Start-Stop technology in the F-150. This technology, specially tuned for truck customers, shuts off the engine when the vehicle is at a stop – except when towing or in four-wheel drive – to give drivers power on demand when they need it most. When the brake is released, the engine restarts quickly.

Nope. They run fairly quiet. Much quieter than the cooper discoverer stt I had on my dodge. Look great too.

I have a 2015 f 150 platinum leveled with 35s. Eco boost gets good on the highway around 20 mpg. Love the truck so far.

Thanks! Yours is legit too. I agree with you too. Leveling kit or doesn't look finished.

Never mind. frick that feature. That is one of the dumbest things ever devised for a vehicle.

I love mine. I've had zero issues

maybe it's an optical illusion but the fit of that front bumper to the fender looks messed up...like the bumper is tilted down in the rear...gap widens as you go further back...if it's not an optical illusion, well there is your first issue.

Spoke with my neighbor this am, he's got a EcoBust prob 2011-ish model, said it suck arse, no power, been in the shop a lot, will smother if you gas it too hard, etc. Gimmick, get the BIG F-ing V8 no matter your choice.

Mine('14) has quite a bit of upgrades to the engine, but before I never had a power issues and now I for sure dont have any. I have to be easy or else tires will spin out all the time.

So you're saying the dynos lie?

The Eco has more power than the V8. I'm not saying that his may be a lemon, but there's nothing wrong with mine and its got plenty of power. It just doesn't groan like a V8 so it definitely feels a little different

My stock Ecoboost will out pull any stock V8 out there guaranteed. Oh, and I'll leave it in the dust when I put my foot down.

I'm just quoting what the dude said. I wouldn't have one, my reasoning is longevity b/c I don't trade my truck off ever 50K miles. What kind of miles have yall put on these war horse EcoBusts?

I'll add, when you get rid of the shitty factory rake, the 2015 in a silver or white is the best looking truck possibly ever, but I'd have the 5.0 in mine.

and would only get worse with a leveling kit and new tires

Why would a leveling kit reduce MPG's?

More air up under the front screwing with the factory aerodynamics. I ran mine for a week before my tires and didn't notice a loss in MPGs with just the front level.
