He is 3 1/2....let them grow a few more years and hopefully hit the protein hard. He is going to be a monster. I have game cam pics of him from that year as well....but dont know how to upload pictures.

Upload pics to photobucket and copy direct link into the img tap beside the posting box. Awesome deer, I dont hate on high fence, I think it's your land and money do whatever you want with it. I dont necessarily think its sporting but I see your points as well.

thats a big piece of property but that's not a very big ranch. If you were several thousand acres I would give you a little more credit. that is a damn fine deer and I don't care how you hunt but I wouldnt be too boastful about shooting it in a pen.
good luck getting him this year.
ETA: If I were offered a shot at that deer in a high fence for free, I would jump for joy.

Already left work will upload pix later. As far as it being a "pen" I know for a fact there are multiple bucks that will live and die on the ranch and not be seen. For us it's more about the management program. My dad hasn't shot a buck over 8 points in probably 6 years and he is the one that foots the bill for everything. I enjoy seeing them now as much as I do shooting them. And he has at least 2 more years of growth and breeding before we try to harvest....he will be the exception to equally enjoying seeing/killing
