I see there’s 4 on a JK. Tough spots for downstream removal. Not sure which side code is for P0137. Getting conflicting info online. Any experience at this is helpful.

Thank you in advance:

hit the threads for it with wd40 before you try to loosen it, it makes it come off super easy. if you dont, they can strip threads.

the codes say left or right bank, google tells you which is left or right for your vehicle.

also, add a dab of grease on the electrical plug to be sure it remains a secure electrical connection

Yes, got WD-penetrating on next Walmart list. Plug grease good idea too. Not looking forward to removing the wheel well shroud. Anti-seize to threads on install. Any tool you recommend for best grip on sensor downstream sensor at catalytic converter?

Re: Yukon.

I used the FIXD unit, iPhone App, and it identified bank 1, sensor 1, and used YouTube for the how to effort. I did it myself and used an O2 sensor removal socket rented from Advanced Auto. PB blaster, a good amount of force and it popped loose. The replacement sensor came with a light amount of anti-seize already on it.

Can’t help with the Jeep but will say the Yukon’s 4 sensors are reachable.

If you can’t rent an O2 wrench, go to harbor freight and get a set of crows foot sockets and a cheater bar or bar extension.
Good luck. Have patience.
I had an 07 jk. Replace the entire exhaust. Headers, y-pipes, cat back exhaust. I put O2 sensors on when it was on the bench. But, I remember thinking that it wouldn’t be fun replacing in place.
